“Coordinating to Bring Low-Skilled and Marginalized Clients Employment” webinars from LLSC

December 5th, 2013 by Monika Jankowska-Pacyna

This December, Literacy Link South Central is organizing a series of webinars focused on how the Regional Literacy Networks could further coordinate local services to enhance employment outcomes for lower-skilled Ontarians.

These webinars are part of a partnership project between the seven Regional Literacy Networks in the Western Region. Funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities under the Labour Market Partnership funding stream, ten different strategies were piloted through this project. Each of the ten strategies – all part of the Coordinating to Bring Low-Skilled and Marginalized Clients Employment project – focused on how the Regional Literacy Networks could further coordinate local services to enhance employment outcomes for lower-skilled Ontarians.

The ten strategies from this innovative project have been summarized into five webinars which will be delivered during December 2013. These webinars will be offered free of charge and are open to all LBS and ES agencies in Ontario. You are welcome to take one, several or all of the webinars.

Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. These webinars will be recorded; therefore, if you are unable to take part in these training opportunities, you can access the recorded version of each webinar. To register, just click on the link included with each individual webinar described below. When your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email, along with the link for joining up.
