I  just came across this amazing wiki called Support Blogging – it’s the creation of Steve Hargadon who is  the director of the K-12 Open Technologies Initiative at the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) and a passionate proponent of educational technology in support of learning.Don’t be put off by the current K-12 focus of Support Blogging – it is for educators in every area of learning and there is much here to support literacy practitioners who are interested in using blogs and bloggin in their practice.

Support Blogging  is a treasure house of information, ideas, resources, supports for educators who are using or want to use blogs in their practice.

Among it’s many practical features is  Blog Search function to help you find education blogs, an email list you can join to connect with other educators, a list of basic blogging tools put together by Will Richardson  – the self-described   “Learner in Chief” at Connective Learning and the author of  Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms .
