On February 20, 2013, at 3 pm ET, Monika Jankowska-Pacyna delivered the What does it take to be a digitally-enabled teacher? webinar to explore the characteristics, attitudes and skills of tech-savvy teachers and what literacy practitioners and volunteers need to know, have or do to be effective in integrating digital tools and technologies into their practice.
Monika focused on attitudes, skills and characteristics, as well as access to technology and training as important factors in digitally-enabling today’s teachers. She also shared The 33 Digital Skills Every 21st Century Teacher Should Have developed by Med Kharbach the founder and author of Educational Technology and Mobile Learning.
