July 11th, 2011 by Monika Jankowska-Pacyna
Simcoe/Muskoka Literacy Network (SMLN) recently published a consolidated list of adaptive technology to help people with learning and other challenges that may affect their learning.
The guide, titled Compedium of Adaptive Technologies: A resource guide for adult educators, provides information on free and for purchase adaptive technology software, hardware and practitioner training related to learning disabilities and other challenges.
Edited by Cindy Haché with contributions from Norma Hart, this guide draws on resources provided in the Free Assistive Technology for People with Learning Disabilities workshop developed by The Centre for Literacy of Quebec in 2009.
