Monika Jankowska-Pacyna – Putting things aside but remembering where they are…

June 29th, 2012 by Monika Jankowska-Pacyna

I started using Pocket when it was still known as ‘Read it later.’ As the name implied, it allowed me to save content and explore it at a time more convenient for me. It quickly became one of my favourite tools that I referred to on a regular basis.

Since I manage AlphaPlus’ website and social media tools, I come across interesting news, updates, links, announcements, documents, videos and other content on a daily basis. With other projects, meetings and assignments, I often don’t have time to read and explore this wealth of information on the spot and that’s when Pocket becomes handy.

If I come across an interesting topic or article, I click on my Pocket button to save it for later. When I have a bit more time (often on Fridays), I come back to my saved links and explore them. Then I can focus on and investigate the content further, decide if it’s something worth saving for future use (or not) and keep my bookmarks list in check.

Since I also use a smartphone, I can explore these links on the go while I am on a subway or in a car on my way to or from work. Hmmm…I should clarify – I am not the one driving the car, my husband is!

If you are looking for a quick and convenient way to save content that you need to review later, check out Pocket. It will help you put things aside but remember where they are.
