For many years we’ve been hearing that practitioners learn best from other practitioners—hearing how people in the field are applying theories and concepts, frameworks and methodologies in their practice and within the realities of literacy work in Ontario. We also hear that one of the ways that practitioners learn best from each other is in informal, ad hoc chats in hallways at conferences, over coffee during breaks, and at chance meet ups at photocopiers or printers.
